Sueli Menezes was according to her birth certificate born on the February, 6th 1968 in the small village Parana do Paratari situated in the midst of the Amazon jungle. She came to Vienna around the end of the 80s, where she married and gave birth to her third son Thomas. Three years ago she founded the association “Vitoria Regia” designed to help street children as well as poor and sick children in the Amazon.
After publishing her autobiography she felt motivated to continue writing. Today she lives in Vienna with her youngest son and is an accepted author, translator and art-designer.
